Locally-focused Renewable Infrastructure
In 2023, Schroders Greencoat closed the largest-ever commitment by UK local government pensions into locally-focused renewable infrastructure.
The bespoke mandate targets investments in a wide range of renewable energy technologies in the South-West of England, contributing to UK net-zero targets and impact goals of the Local Government Schemes.

Private equity mandate
In January 2023, Schroders secured a private equity mandate in excess of £500m by the Wales Pension Partnership (WPP), a collaboration of the eight LGPS funds in Wales.
The Global Private Equity segregated mandate will have a global investment focus, allocating across a number of industries including Healthcare and Technology encompassing primaries, co-investments and secondaries within multiple sectors from venture to turnaround.
